Dolomiti Village, A green village
Immersed in nature, two kilometers from the Zoncolan ski slopes, the Dolomiti Village comprises twenty wooden chalets and a treehouse that blend alpine style with a refined and unique modern design.
Care for the environment is a principle that Dolomiti Village has made its own, right from the start. The use of local and sustainable materials for building the accommodation units, a small photovoltaic plant and LED lights with low energy impact, are just some of the solutions adopted for protecting and safeguarding nature.
The electrical appliances installed in the facilities are all class A, to guarantee absolute energy efficiency. The holiday village also has its own aqueduct which comes from a natural water source and its own purification plant based on phytoremediation.
Wooden Chalets
The chalet, which is entirely made of wood, is arranged over two floors plus a mezzanine and can house two to six people. The sleeping areaOn the upper floor, it consists of a double bedroom: a relaxation area that turns into a bedroom with four mattresses that can be transformed into two single beds or one double bed, and a loft with two beds.
Tree House
Have you ever slept in a tree house? In our holiday village we have built one around a beech tree, for a different kind of holiday in full contact with nature. You will experience the magic of really living in a wood, with the living area and the sound of the leaves blowing in the wind.
The Village and its Surroundings
Two kilometres from Zoncolan
Dolomiti Village is along the road that leads from Comeglians to Ravascletto, two kilometres from the Zoncolan ski slopes. n the summer time, you can travel along the “Panoramica delle Vette”, which became famous thanks to the missing leg of the Giro d’Italia 2011. The path which leads to the top of Monte Crostis starts from the Panoramica delle Vette. Once at the top, the majestic massif Monte Coglians is ahead and it is not rare to meet marmots or to admire the flight of an eagle.
Daily itineraries
From Dolomiti Village it is easy to reach all the main tourist locations in Carnia: Sauris, Arta Terme or Tolmezzo, the capital of Carnia with the village of Illegio, where an international religious art exhibition is held every year. Or even in Pedemontana Friulana, at Lake Cavazzo or at the natural reserve in Cornino. And why not take a trip over the border into nearby Austria?
Surrounding area
Travelling along the roads of Val Degano you come across some enchanting villages, Povolaro e Maranzanis i più vicini, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Povolaro and Maranzanis being the nearest, where time seems to have stood still. In fact, the villages in this valley still have their characteristic architecture almost fully intact, with exposed stone houses, covered with roofs made of typical terracotta tiles. In the nearby Val Pesarina, the heart of the Friuli Dolomites, it is worth visiting Pesariis, the village of clocks. There you can visit the Clock Museum, which takes you back through the history and evolution of time measuring instruments. Along the streets of the village, there are 12 monumental clocks located at different points along a very evocative route, which has become a sort of open-air museum. Just outside the village, slightly above the hamlet of Truia, a short walk leads to the stavoli Orias, characteristic rural mountain buildings which, unlike in other places, are collected into a small cluster here.

A certified AISA sauna master is available to guests to delight them with fragrant aufguss in the Finnish sauna and indulgent scrubs in the Turkish bath.
